Everpure, recognized as a storage pioneer and data platform provider, is seeking a Member of Technical Staff - Quality Engineer to join the team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will take ownership of System Testing for FlashArray products, validating stability, resiliency, and performance under sustained, production-like workloads. The company focuses on the technology ecosystem, supporting hyperscalers, AI labs, and hardware supply chains. A normal day in this position involves designing and running multi-week customer-like scenarios that combine workloads, failovers, upgrades, and fault injections. You will act as a crucial quality gate before releases reach customers, manage test environments, triage failures, collaborate closely with development and release teams, and mentor junior engineers on test design and longevity validation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define System Testing strategy and test plans for major features and releases.
• Build realistic scenarios mirroring customer environments with mixed workloads and long-running IO.
• Manage test environments, monitor test runs, and triage failures quickly.
• Act as a primary quality gate for Release Candidates and provide data-driven release recommendations.
• Coach mid-level and junior QE engineers on test design, debugging, and longevity best practices.
• Partner with automation teams to extend workflows, workload drivers, and observability dashboards.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software QA, system test, performance, or reliability engineering.
• Strong understanding of storage concepts like block, file, snapshots, replication, and HA/failover.
• Proven ability to design and execute long-running scenarios to surface race conditions and memory leaks.
• Strong debugging skills across host, network, storage systems, logs, and metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and at least one of VMware, Windows, or Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with test automation using Python or shell, CI pipelines, and result dashboards.

Good to have

• Background in enterprise storage.
• Experience with performance engineering, capacity modeling, or customer-data-driven test design.
• Exposure to AI-assisted test design or triage.
• Experience working with hypervisors, backup applications, databases, video streaming, or healthcare workloads.
• Prior multi-tenancy, RBAC, replication, disaster recovery, QoS, and quota test background.
