- Define and drive next-generation performance benchmarking requirements and metrics for FlashArray products.
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and leadership to a team of engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering to validate critical customer scenarios.
- Oversee deep-dive analysis of performance bottlenecks within the Linux storage and networking stack.
- Identify optimization opportunities to improve user throughput and latency.
- Translate real-world customer needs into engineering goals and product readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and executing system-level performance testing for enterprise-grade solutions.
- Familiarity with servers, storage including SAN protocols like iSCSI, NFS, SMB, and databases.
- Expert-level proficiency with Linux systems, network configurations, storage stack, and system settings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide architectural direction to software and performance engineers.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex performance data into engineering improvements.
- Ability to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with company policies.
