As a Product Analyst at Ethos Life in Bangalore, you will be part of an investigative and analytical function dedicated to process integrity and product quality. Your normal day will involve working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and compliance teams to monitor key data, investigate complex issues, and uncover root causes. You will dive into large datasets, design remediations, and deliver exploratory research to help future-proof systems and support risk management initiatives. By translating numbers into clear takeaways, you help ensure high standards of customer experience and operational accuracy while empowering data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key data and processes to proactively identify, track, and report issues, anomalies, or risks.
• Partner with business areas to prioritize concerns and translate them into actionable findings.
• Investigate complex issues independently by analyzing large datasets to find root causes.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to scope, resolve, and validate fixes.
• Conduct exploratory analyses and research on large data sets to uncover high-impact risk opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to product managers and stakeholders to drive action.
• Work cross-functionally to scale insights through improved monitoring and automation.
• Analyze results and translate them into clear takeaways for the team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data-driven product management.
• Strong skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Experience with a data visualization tool like Looker, Tableau, or Mode.
• Working knowledge of basic statistical concepts such as regression and confidence intervals.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to connect data points intuitively.
• Skilled in leveraging data and analytical tools to support decisions and provide actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues independently and propose solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain findings to non-technical audiences.

Good to have

• 1+ years of experience with SQL
