Ethos Life, a leading life insurance technology company, is seeking an SEO Content Writer to join its team in Bangalore, India. Ethos operates a robust three-sided technology platform that transforms the life insurance experience for consumers, agents, and carriers by offering instant, accessible products with no medical exams required. In this role, you will support growing content efforts across life insurance and wealth management. A normal day involves writing, editing, and optimizing search-optimized financial content, turning complex financial topics and search insights into clear, trustworthy material for consumers, and collaborating closely with the SEO and editorial teams to align content with search intent and emerging AI discovery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimize content across wealth management, personal finance, and life insurance topics.
• Translate complex financial concepts into clear, accurate, and consumer-friendly content.
• Create content aligned with search intent, SEO best practices, and LLM discoverability.
• Research financial topics using credible primary and secondary sources to ensure accurate claims.
• Structure content effectively using headings, summaries, FAQs, tables, and lists to improve readability.
• Refresh and optimize existing content based on organic performance and changing search behavior.
• Work closely with SEO, editorial, product, and other stakeholders to take content to publication.
• Stay current with developments in SEO, AI search, LLMs, and financial content.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional content writing experience in digital marketing, SEO, or organic content.
• Prior experience writing about finance or financial services, such as wealth management, investing, fintech, or insurance.
• Strong ability to research and explain complex financial topics accurately and in plain English.
• Excellent command of written English with proven editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO, search intent, on-page optimization, and content structure.
• Experience creating content that performs well in organic search.
• Strong attention to detail when working with financial data, statistics, and claims.

Good to have

• Familiarity with LLMs, AI search, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
• A track record of creating content cited or referenced by LLMs or AI search platforms.
