Responsibilities
- Manage the complete design process for major features and product areas from initial research to polished UI.
- Lead design initiatives across cross-functional teams as an equal peer with engineering and product management.
- Perform user research to generate actionable insights and clear design decisions.
- Contribute to and expand the design system by managing components, patterns, and tokens.
- Build low and high fidelity prototypes to test ideas and reduce risks before engineering begins.
- Present design rationale to stakeholders and guide more junior team members.
- Design human-AI interaction layers that build trust and maintain user control over predictive features.
Requirements
- 5 to 7+ years of experience working as a Product Designer with a comprehensive portfolio.
- Deep expertise in Figma including auto-layout, variants, and design tokens.
- Proven background in designing within and contributing to large-scale design systems.
- Solid visual and interaction design fundamentals covering layout, typography, and motion.
- Practical knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG 2.2.
- Experience conducting user research and utilizing data to guide design choices.
- Regular hands-on use of AI-assisted coding tools to create working prototypes.
Good to have
- Experience designing B2B SaaS or data-heavy analytics products.
- Front-end fluency in React or JavaScript for close engineering collaboration.
- Prior experience mentoring designers or leading a small design pod.
