Senior Manager - Data & Analytics

Everpure, a major data platform and storage pioneer, is looking for a Senior Manager - Data & Analytics to join its team in Bangalore. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end data, analytics, and AI portfolio and manage the team that builds it. You serve as the primary connection between business stakeholders and the analytics group by gathering requirements, shaping roadmaps, and delivering scalable products. A normal day is very hands-on, involving requirements sessions, data model reviews, writing SQL, designing dashboards, evaluating models, and ensuring high user adoption and business impact rather than just managing from a distance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of senior and junior developers, analysts, and data scientists.
• Serve as the primary interface to business organizations to gather requirements and define testable specs.
• Prioritize data and analytics needs using a consistent framework and define roadmap strategy.
• Set visualization standards and design dashboards focused on user decisions and accessibility.
• Write, review, optimize, and debug advanced SQL queries on Snowflake and oversee scalable pipelines in Python.
• Set the AI agenda by identifying high-value use cases for machine learning and generative AI.
• Drive product adoption through enablement, documentation, training, and measuring success metrics.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or data platform roles.
• 4+ years of direct experience managing teams.
• Demonstrated ownership of an enterprise data, BI, or analytics portfolio from requirements to production.
• Advanced SQL skills with deep experience in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Knowledge of Python including package development and production-quality code standards.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise BI and semantic layer tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or ThoughtSpot.
• Strong data visualization craft and design sensibility.

• Advanced degree in statistics, data science, or computer science.
• Domain expertise in finance, customer, or product.
• Experience with CRM and ERP datasets.
