Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial roadmap and vendor distribution strategy for assigned categories to improve margins.
- Structure and run competitive, end-to-end bidding processes and RFPs to secure optimal cost and commercial terms.
- Create and utilize component-level clean sheets to drive pricing transparency and optimum cost for buy events.
- Partner with material sourcing and technology teams to embed procurement capabilities and ensure transparent supplier pricing.
- Identify and deliver significant product cost reductions through rigorous negotiation and repeatable frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate upstream material availability into product design and development cycles.
- Execute value creation opportunities to reshape the supply chain through verticalization and volume consolidation plays.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Deep expertise in commodity costing, clean sheet, and manufacturing excellence
- Ability to challenge major T1 and T2 suppliers to provide transparent and competitive pricing
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams like merchandising, technology, and material sourcing
- Track record of delivering product cost savings and securing supply continuity
- Experience with upstream sourcing and material cost optimization
