As a Senior Business Systems Analyst for CPQ at Elastic in Bangalore, India, you will act as a crucial link between business stakeholders and IT development teams. Your main focus will be on Configure, Price, Quote functionalities and Salesforce platforms to improve business processes. A normal working day involves gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing current CPQ workflows, leading stakeholder discussions, translating business needs into clear technical specifications for IT teams, and participating in user acceptance testing to ensure final solutions match strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders to guide the development process.
• Analyze current CPQ workflows to find areas that need improvement.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for IT teams.
• Facilitate communication and lead stakeholder meetings between business and IT development groups.
• Identify and document system defects to help resolve them efficiently.
• Collaborate with IT teams to validate solutions after testing concludes.
• Perform user acceptance testing with stakeholders to confirm alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant CPQ certification
• 5+ years of experience with business systems analysis
• 3+ years of experience with CPQ tools and functionalities
• 2+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting requirements
• Proficiency in Configure, Price, Quote software and Salesforce CPQ functionalities

Good to have

• Experience with business process modeling tools
• Knowledge of user acceptance testing methodologies
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Successfully led multiple CPQ implementation projects
• Improved CPQ workflow efficiency by over 20% through process analysis
