As a Staff Software Engineer on the Enterprise Team based in Bengaluru, you will act as a technical leader owning critical infrastructure that empowers global companies. Your work will involve managing granular travel policies, dynamic approval workflows, user identity management, and enterprise analytics. A normal day in this role requires you to bridge complex backend logic with intuitive user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to design end-to-end features, build responsive frontend interfaces, and scale robust backend microservices. By combining technical expertise with strategic vision, you will help shape the long-term technical direction of your domain while delivering high-impact solutions for enterprise customers at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end features across the full stack using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Build powerful backend engines and user interfaces for complex business domains like travel policies and approval chains.
• Architect and scale APIs and data services to manage high data volumes and ensure transactional integrity.
• Take technical ownership of problem domains to launch key microservices and features.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver cross-domain features.
• Partner with leadership to plan and execute the long-term technical vision as a subject matter expert.
• Champion technical excellence through high-quality code, testing, and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• 7-9 years of software development experience building complex SaaS or consumer-facing web applications.
• Deep backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, data modeling, query optimization, and secure API design.
• Solid frontend experience (4+ years) with modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue, TypeScript, and state management.
• Extensive experience designing scalable applications across microservices, distributed systems, and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong ownership, collaborative mindset, clear communication, and ability to ship production-quality code.
• Ability to leverage AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, CodeGPT, Claude, and Cursor.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
