Stripe is looking for a Legal Operations Team Lead to join their team in Bengaluru for a full-time position. The Stripe Delivery Center strategy aims to provide operational leverage and scale support for both external users and internal teams. In this role, you will work in a player-coach capacity to guide a team of Associates. A typical day involves managing team operational performance, overseeing capacity and scheduling, assigning daily tasks, setting clear goals, mentoring staff, providing regular feedback, and driving process improvements that boost team productivity and reduce manual effort.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ongoing operational performance of the team to hit key performance indicators.
• Handle capacity, scheduling, and the division of work among team members.
• Ensure the team possesses the necessary skills and resources for success.
• Set clear expectations and goals for individual and team performance.
• Coach and mentor individuals while supporting career progression and conducting performance reviews.
• Support recruitment and hiring initiatives for the team.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Drive initiatives to maintain a welcoming workplace culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience leading operations teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exemplary planning and time management skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Previous experience mentoring others and providing constructive feedback.
• Ability to motivate and engage the team within a structured process.
• Proven ability to be a subject matter expert in the relevant business line.
• Prior experience in customer service or user-facing operations.
