As a Quality Control Inspector for the US Shift at Fictiv in Bengaluru, your primary role is to remotely inspect parts manufactured by U.S. partners before they ship to customers working on advanced technologies like autonomous vehicles and surgical systems. Fictiv connects a vast catalog of manufacturing components with a digital platform to accelerate innovation. A normal day involves reviewing part photographs, inspection reports, Material Test Certificates, and compliance documentation from your Bengaluru office during US hours. You will balance the dual priorities of maintaining on-time shipping schedules and ensuring zero defects reach the clients. Working in a hybrid setup of three nights in the office and two nights remotely, you will coordinate across teams, utilize ERP and proprietary systems, process rejections when necessary, and release conforming shipments to support the company's growth in India.

Responsibilities

• Review part photographs and First Article Inspection Reports to verify specification conformance.
• Release conforming parts using the company ERP system to enable logistics shipping.
• Verify Material Test Certificates and compliance documents against international standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturing partners, customers, and internal teams to resolve non-conformances.
• Reject non-conforming parts with clear explanations and review resubmissions.
• Enter nonconformance data into the Workbench system to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain on-time, in-full delivery performance while preventing escaping defects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
• Experience with 3D printed, CNC machined, injection moulded, and sheet metal fabricated parts and finishes.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with reviewing Material Test Certificates and inspection documentation against standards.
• Minimum of 3 years working U.S. business hours, or willingness to do so.
• Excellent English reading, writing, and cross-culture communication skills.
• Strong structured problem-solving skills and ability to work under shipping-cutoff deadline pressure.
