As a Senior Software Engineer in the Content Engineering team based in Bengaluru, you will work on large-scale content processing using cutting-edge technologies. Your daily responsibilities will involve leveraging AI applications such as NLP and Large Language Models for document understanding tasks like text categorization, document classification, and data extraction. You will build and deploy production-grade LLM solutions, fine-tune models, develop prompt engineering strategies, and implement scalable data processing pipelines. Your work will directly impact how professionals uncover deep insights from thousands of content sets.

Responsibilities

• Deploy production-grade solutions utilizing Large Language Models.
• Fine-tune and adapt advanced LLMs for specialized data extraction tasks.
• Develop innovative prompt engineering strategies to maximize reliability on business documents.
• Solve technical engineering challenges related to LLM solutions like latency and non-deterministic output.
• Implement and scale high-volume data processing pipelines for complex documents.
• Integrate and manage LLM observability to trace, debug, and monitor extractions.
• Own systems end-to-end including design, coding, monitoring, testing, CI/CD, and support.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with a primary focus on Python.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying applications using Large Language Models.
• Experience in extracting structured JSON from text using LLMs and deep prompt engineering understanding.
• Proficiency in classic NLP libraries for tasks like NER, text classification, and preprocessing.
• Experience with LLM tracing, debugging, and evaluation platforms such as Langfuse.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good to have

• Experience in async data processing at scale using frameworks like LangChain, HuggingFace, and FastAPI.
• Expertise in core engineering skills including cloud, microservices, caching, and queuing.
• Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, VCS, and CI/CD.
• Previous experience in data extraction from specific domains like financial reports or news.
